I ORDERED THIS BOOK ON FEB 19. AMAZON SAID IT WOULD COME BY FEB 25TH. THE TRUE OF THE MATTER IS THAT IT NEVER ARRIVED & I HAVE NO WAY TO CLAIM IT.

POOR QUALITY SERVICE (OR IT MIGHT BE STOLEN FROM THE COURIER?)

If you have searched the net for cholesterol or read even one book on the subject, you will be wasting your money here.

I would highly recommend – “Best Choices From the Peoples Pharmacy”. The chapter on cholesterol is worth the price of the book. And there are several other chapters – including high blood pressure. Buy this book instead.

This book is crap (my apologies for the bluntness). I was very disappointed that I wasted my money. I was looking for a natural, nutritional (and exercise) approach for treating borderline high cholesterol. What this book pushes are a lot of drugs. Dietary “supplements” are not natural. They are not nutritionally complete nor part of a healthy diet. Cholesterol drugs are certainly not natural. Eating avocados is natural. Cutting fat and processed foods is natural. I was very disappointed that there was nothing here that I could use. I purchased 5 other cholesterol books at the same time as this one and they were all better suited to a natural, nutritional approach to managing cholesterol.

I am still reading this book. It is really helpful to “understand and conquer” this cholesterol issue.

The book is good, but there’s not enough information on it. I was specifically looking for info. on silent heart attacks and that’s not even mentioned. At 6.99 the price was perfect.
